I know it’s corny. But you at least smiled, didn’t you?

How to Overcome Negative Seft Talk

Most of us do it or at least have done it at some point in our lives. We say nasty horrible things to ourselves. We call ourselves dumb, stupid, dense, fat……and the list goes on.

I just read something that really made sense and it clicked for the first time for me. So perhaps it will make sense to you too.

The next time you overhear yourself saying something negative, stop and think….. is this something I would say to someone else? Hopefully, the answer is NO. And if that is the case….. then you shouldn’t be saying it to yourself either.
