Could Rheumatoid Arthritis be caused by a Mycoplasmal infection? Experts say yes.

handsofRA

One thing that just doesn’t set well with me personally is when “they” say: Sorry, but we don’t know what causes it.  “It” being anything really. I tend to think there is a cause, we just need to find it.

Perhaps it’s been known for years and just buried. That seems to be the case with many things I have dug up lately.

The latest being Rheumatoid Arthritis.

If you’re like me, you probably know someone that has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Perhaps it’s even you.

My question is, were they ever told that a type of bacteria called a mycoplasma could at the very least be a co factor of the symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis? My guess is probably not.

So, could Rheumatoid Arthritis be exasperated or even caused by a virus or bacteria? hmmmm… this makes ya wonder:

Published in the Journal of Rheumatology in 1999, Doctors studied “mycoplasmal infections in blood of patients with rheumatoid arthritis” –

And here is what they came up with: “The results suggest that a high percentage of RA patients have systemic mycoplasmal infections. Furthermore, retroviruses and entero-pathogenic bacteria continue to be intensively discussed as possible aetiological factors of RA [40, 41].”

Here’s the full length study that this came from.

Some experts seem to believe that these infections are co-factors, others like Dr. Joel Wallach, believe they are the cause.  Since RA is an inflammatory condition, and chronic inflammation is cause by an infection, it makes more sense to me that the cause is related to a mycoplasmal infection.

However, if you look at the list of “commonly” used drugs for R.A., you will mostly find Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatories. That’s like putting a bandaid on a gun shoot wound if you ask me. Those drugs will not kill off an infection. And in fact they will depress the immune system and cause a host of other nasty side effects.

In the study the doctors reference the use of a class of Antibiotics called minocycline for treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis. In the study the doctors also note that tetracycline compounds have “long been” used by Rheumatologists and their anti-rheumatic activity have been demonstrated. And yet they say they don’t know why patients respond to the antibiotics.

Well, duh. Because the antibiotics get to the cause, not just mask the symptoms.

Now remember, all antibiotics are not without risk. The damage that they can do in other areas of the body can be drastic. But those can be mitigated with probiotics and other gut healing elements.

Bottom line: Know the cause, find the cure.

To your best health!

Question: What are you without an immune system?
Answer: You are dead.

As morbid as it may sound, it’s true. When your immune system is weak you will get sick. When your immune system completely fails you will die.

Childhood Obesity – Linked to a virus?

There are a lot of things that make me sad. And definitely one of them is to see overweight/obese children. I know in most of the cases, it is due to poor eating choices, either by them or provided by the parents/caregivers. But there is some new research that suggests that a dormant virus can also lead to childhood obesity.

In case you didn’t know, September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month. But awareness means nothing with the application of knowledge.

According to an article at SCIENCE DAILY – ” a cross-sectional study done researchers from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine  found that children exposed to a particular strain of adenovirus were significantly more likely to be obese.

The study will be published in the September 20 online edition of the journal Pediatrics.  Jeffrey B. Schwimmer, MD, associate professor of clinical pediatrics at UC San Diego, and colleagues examined 124 children, ages 8 to 18, for the presence of antibodies specific to adenovirus 36 (AD36), one of more than 50 strains of adenovirus known to infect humans and cause a variety of respiratory, gastrointestinal and other infections. AD36 is the only human adenovirus currently linked to human obesity.

The majority of these AD36-positive children (78 percent) were obese, with AD36 antibodies much more frequent in obese children (15 of 67) than in non-obese children (4 of 57)”

You can read more on the story at: SCIENCE DAILY

So obviously for these kids, beside ensuring they are eating healthy and getting plenty of exercise, the next thing to address is this virus in their body. The best way to do that is to attack it with TRANSFER FACTOR PLUS. An all natural substance that gives the body the tools it needs to among other things, raise the body’s Natural Killer cells by 437%. With a health immune system, the body can fight and kills all sorts of threat.
