Relatives say a 16-year-old boy who was shot and killed by police after he fired at pedestrians and then at pursuing officers suffered from a bipolar disorder .

Mellisa Strom McJunkin‘s insight:

Another sad story to tell of a young man that was not treated properly for his brain disorder. Notice I didn’t say his "mental illness". Why? Because it is the brain the is in charge of thinking, feeling, actions, motives, habits, and so much more. The brain is an organ, like every other organ in the body. It cannot and will not function correctly when it’s toxic and starving. When the brain and body are detoxed and nourish they begin to operate better.  And hence, our thinking, feeling, actions and beliefs can improve as well too.

Yes, the "symptoms" of what psychiatry calls bipolar disorder and depression are real, but main stream psychiatry is FAILING us when all they do is prescribe lethel and non effective drugs. DRUGS  WILL NOT and CANNOT get to the root of the problem; a toxic and nutrient deficient brain.Imagine trying to operate your vehicle on sugar water. That’s sums up the American diet. Loaded with sugar and nutrient void.

What needs to happen is a comprehensive detoxification of all the vital organs in the body, including the brain. And then the body needs to be replenished with bioactive, bioavailable nutrients that help to nourish and optimize hormones, neurotransmitter activty and provide vital nutrition to function in a healthy way.
