This has been the mantra of Tony Horton (The Creator of P90X ) for at least a DOZEN years. Nice to see it given some serious kudos.
According to the article: “Periodization refers to the systematic changing of workout variables every few weeks (i.e., weight, reps, sets, rest, exercises) to prevent plateaus in strength and muscle gains.”
If you have never tried “Muscle Confusion” than you truly don’t know what you’re missing.
