The Best Ab Exercises Requires No Equipment

Turn on late night TV and you will most likely find a commercial for some sort of AB/Exercise contraption. I still have the AB slide and the Ab Dolly myself, and yes I use them from time to time just to make it interesting. But the fact of the matter is the best stomach exercises do not necessarily require equipment to perform them. This makes them easy to do anywhere, anytime.

When you decide on a fitness program make sure it is one that includes stomach exercises, and make sure they are ones that work the ALL different parts of the stomach – upper, lower and sides, otherwise known as the obliques. If a person simply concentrates on one area of their stomach, you will not see results you are most likely looking for.

Basic “crunches” target the upper part of the stomarch, whereas “side crunches” target the obliques. Exercises such as the “bicycle” will really burn up the lower section. And then there is the mother of all Ab exercises and it is the one called the “Mason Twist” which slays all parts of the abs; top, bottom, and sides all at the same time. If you have never done a Mason Twist, let me know and I will explain it to you.

Any one serious about working on the abdominal muscles will find it most helpful to try several different stomach exercises and then determine which one they can both feel and see results with. But like any muscle group you do not want to work it everyday. Only work the abs every other day for maximum results and to give your ripped and torn muscles time to regroup.

Question: What are you without an immune system?
Answer: You are dead.

As morbid as it may sound, it’s true. When your immune system is weak you will get sick. When your immune system completely fails you will die.
